Tim is a product designer by training, gaining his BSc from the University of Sussex (2:1) and his MSc (Distinction) from Brunel University. Tim brings a practical knowledge of the design and manufacturing supply chain to Giraffe with specific experience of managing product development for the global market. Tim spent almost 10 years working in project management and business development roles in the design manufacture industry before joining Giraffe. His previous work included projects for Marriot International, DKNY, Radisson, Louis Vuitton, Bombay Sapphire, Deutsche Bank, Skanska and many more. As a consultant at Giraffe Tim has delivered multiple projects looking at product and packaging design, waste prevention, the recovery of valuable materials and CRMs from WEEE (Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment) and the potential resale value of refurbished EEE (Electronic and Electrical Equipment ). Tim’s other work for Giraffe includes Product Sustainability Benchmarking; Eco-Design Audits; product development, testing and evaluation of green credentials for start-ups; the development and delivery workshops using Giraffe’s creativity toolkit; and public speaking and lecturing. While at Giraffe Tim has worked on these projects with clients such as BT, EISC, WRAP, The British Library, Brunel University, MAS and the Albany Theatre. Tim has led the redevelopment of the Changing Habbits site and it’s Swiss Launch at the ETH Zurich in 2015.
